Cancelations & Returns Policy
Under the EU Directive on Consumer Rights you have the right to return unwanted goods. This "cooling-off" period gives you 14 days in which to cancel your order. The period starts the day after the day that goods are received. If you wish to cancel an order within the 14 day cooling-off period, you may do so providing the goods are in a re-saleable condition, we ask customers exercising this right to return the goods unused, in the original packaging with all user information.
To exercise this right, please contact us. We will need confirmation in writing, as well as your name, address and order ID number, please submit this via email to email@example.com. When exercising the right to cancel during the cooling-off period, goods are to be returned at the customer's expense. We will send you the correct address to return the goods, this may not be the same address from which the goods were sent.
Refunds are not dependent on the goods being returned. If goods are not returned to us after a customer has exercised the right to cancel, we require that they are made available for collection. The direct cost of collection will be deducted from the refund. You will remain liable for the cost of any goods that are not returned or made available for collection.
A reputable delivery service with tracking evidence is recommended when you arrange return the goods back to us. Please ensure that the goods for return are packed with sufficient care to ensure damage does not occur in the delivery process. A strong cardboard box with adequate internal cushioning around the product will protect the goods. Please ensure the plug on any electrical item is packed in sufficient wrapping so that it cannot scratch, dent or break the equipment in transit.
We will not be responsible for such damage and would suggest you take out insurance with your courier to cover this.
Assuming that our return's policy has been adhered to returned goods will be credited within 30 day of our receiving them.
Upon receipt of the goods returned, we we'll issue you with a full refund less the delivery charge (or the actual delivery charge in case the delivery charge is included in the price) and the payment collection service fee of minimum 3.0% which we have to pay.
The returning goods should contain all its accessories and should be in re-sellable conditions.
If the goods have been used or not in a re-sellable condition, then the refund may be rejected or higher re-stocking fee will be applicable.
If you are ordering on behalf of a business the Distance Selling Regulations do not apply and our contract of sale with your business is complete when you accept delivery of the goods. It is important that you select the correct product for your needs as you will not be entitled to a full refund if you wish to return the goods. We do not normally accept the return of goods bought by a business unless the product is new and in its original, unopened packaging.
If in doubt about any aspect of our returns policy, please either email or phone us and we will be happy to help.
Faulty Goods and Warranty Issues
This section is in addition to individual manufacturer's warranties.
Warranty for all products sold at this website are serviced in the UK.
If you believe you the goods delivered may be faulty, please phone us to discuss this with one of our staff members before returning the goods as we are often able to advise and resolve problems you may experience over the telephone, thereby saving you the trouble of repacking and returning an item unnecessarily. If we cannot resolve the problem over the telephone then we will agree to a return.
Faults occurring after the 14-day cooling off period are still covered by the Sales of Good Act (1979) and also by the individual manufacturer's warranties that come with some products.
Authorised returns of faulty goods should be accompanied by information and a letter explaining fully the reasons you think the goods are faulty. If the goods are faulty they will be repaired, replaced or refunded. If the goods are found to not be faulty then we will have to charge for the time spent testing the equipment and/or return delivery charges at our standard delivery rates.
After 30 days from the date of receipt of an order, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning faulty goods. If a fault is found to have occurred due to accidental damage, misuse, abuse, commercial use, alteration you will be informed of the cost of repair/replacement and return delivery. When payment is received, the goods will be returned to you.
Hurom UK cannot be held responsible for the manufacturer’s warranties of a product if the manufacturer of that product ceases trading, goes into liquidation or is declared bankrupt, or we should cease supplying the product.
Please note that with some products on this website Hurom UK does not deal directly with warranties/repairs and will pass your details to the company that has responsibility for warranty and ask you to contact the company. In such cases, repairs and replacements will be subject to that company's Terms and Conditions. However, we will do our best to support you as your first point of contact should any problem arise.
If the goods has a manufacturing defect that is covered by manufacturer’s warranty we will assist in organizing warranty support.
Warranty and Support Requests must be submitted to us in writing via email at info@@huromuk.com to allow us to resolve your issue as quickly as possible.
Waste Electrical And Electronic Equipment Regulation 2006
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) aims to minimize the impact of electrical and electronic goods on the environment, by increasing re-use and recycling and reducing the amount of WEEE going to landfill.
Goods are marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol to show that they were produced after the 13th of August 2005 and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
